The 2012 / 2013 season of American Idol is now holding auditions. The next city the casting team will visit is New Orleans, LA
Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at the New Olreans Arena in New Orleans, LA.
Like all other Idol tryouts, there is a required registration before auditions and the registration days are July 15th and July 17th 2012.
New Orleans is the birth place of Jazz music, the home state of Randy Jackson and world famous for the Mardi Gras.
American Idol is coming to New Orleans to find some Southern Talent!
New Orleans registration for Season 12 auditions will take place on Sunday, July 15 and Monday, July 16, and auditions will take place on Tuesday, July 17. Both registration and auditions will take place at the New Orleans Arena.

After New Orleans, the next stop for the Idol team will be Oklahoma City on the 18th, 19th and 20th.

The 18th and 19th are registration days and auditions will be held on the 20th.
If attending the auditions, keep in mind there will be long lines and a long wait. It’s hot out so be sure to bring plenty of water with you as well as sunscreen and anything else you may need to wait outside in line for a long time.
