Cheerleader tryouts – San Francisco 49ers – The San Francisco 49ers are hosting open auditions for dancers / cheerleaders to join the 49ers 2012 Gold Rush Squad.

The 49ers Cheerleaders are a NFL performance group. The Gold Rush Squad performs at home games as well as many special events, tours, photo shoots and other activities.
The Gold Rush squad has been featured on many national TV shows, 4 Super Bowls and events around the world. The cheerleaders also do an annual swimsuit calendar photo shoot.
Applicants will be required to learn a short dance combination taught by a professional choreographer and perform that routine in a group in front of a panel of judges. Applicants will be judged on dance ability, crowd appeal, showmanship and individual applications. At the end of the preliminary audition, a group of finalists will be selected.
The Gold Rush are one of the NFL’s premiere performance groups.
Preliminary auditions:
Saturday, March 31 at
Maples Pavilion at Stanford University
Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.
Finalists selected on March 31 must be available for a finals prep class, interview and final dance audition during the week of April 1 – April 6.
Please note that all dancers auditioning will need to pay an audition fee and submit a 5×7 photo before March 28, 2012.
