Baltimore Auditions

Type: Student Films

A short film about planning an art museum heist.

The log line is:

Two petty criminals discuss a plan to steal a famous piece of art, which they believe will increase their status as criminals. What the viewer see’s visually, is the planning stages of the heist and how it will change based on the conversation between the men.

Background on the characters: Both men originate from Lower class environments, where they started off pulling petty schemes and committing small time crimes. They now have thoughts of becoming nothing more than bigger criminals. Robert believes this new path to criminal success starts with pulling off a notable job, an art heist.

The shoot will take place mostly on campus, which will double as a cafe and possibly a pool hall. I also plan to utilize other spaces on campus to double as an art gallery. From there, we will have small scenes at a subway station, park and art museum. I plan having a two day rehearsal and then a two day shoot adding a third day only if needed.

Payment: Non Paid
