Extras wanted for Sony Pictures / Amazon Studios “Zombieland” – Get a job as a movie extra

The 2009 movie “Zombieland” is now being turned into a TV series.
The original movie “Zombieland” offered a comedic look at a post-apocalyptic world where, yep, you guessed it, zombies took over after a catastrophic outbreak.

The original “Zombieland” writers are back. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the original also wrote the pilot for the TV show. Gavin Polone will be producing the project.

Production for the TV pilot is about to begin and “Zombieland” producers and casting directors are now hiring paid extras to work on the project. An open casting call is scheduled for Monday Feb 25th in Roswell GA.

The horror-comedy TV series “Zombieland” will be the first offering of a scripted TV show for Amazon. The “Zombieland movie starred Jesse Eisenberg as Columbus, Woody Harrelson as Tallahassee, Emma Stone as Wichita and Abigail Breslin as Little Rock.

The TV series will feature a new cast to play those characters. Woody Harrelson’s Tallahassee will be played by Kirk Ward, Tyler Ross will be Columbus, Izabela Vidovic takes the role of Little Rock and Maiara Walsh will be Wichita.

“Zombieland” and Amazon Studios have hired Marinella casting to hire all the extras so if you have been dying to play a zombie, this may be your big chance.

Casting directors are looking for all types but are especially interested in military and law enforcement looks, Blue collar looks, people with unique faces. 21 and over only.

You do not need to bring anything because casting directors will be taking pictures at the open call.

The new TV show will be shot in Georgia.
