HORROR FILM AUDITION TOMORROW – SUNDAY FEBRUARY 17th from 1-4 in NORTH MIAMI BEACH!
A Mother. A Daughter. A Demon…. How Does a Hot, Sexy Mother Who Hates Her Daughter Put Her Ultimate Plan Into Action?
There are many beautiful stories about mother/daughter relationships out there, but CHARLA isn’t one of them!
CHARLA is the story of a sexy mother who hates her daughter and manages to secretly bring her pain and discomfort. So creative is Charla in satisfying her unsettling needs, that even Amelie grew up unaware of her mother’s deranged feelings towards her.
With Amelie all grown up now, it has become harder and harder for Charla to quench her morbid impulses without getting her hands dirty. So … one lonely dawn, Charla experiences a very weird event that sparks the idea of summoning a demon to disrupt her twenty-five year old daughter’s perfect, pretty little life. She puts the sick plan into action … and the demon moves in….

This is a general synopsis of the novel the film will be based on. The short film will come from part of this. Script is in the process, but audition scenes are ready. We’re primarily looking for these two actresses, mother and daughter!
CHARLA – 40’s (she’s 47 in the book but looks younger), still turns heads, no need to be a fitness buff, but must be attractive and know how to turn on the sensuality. Charla also has a very hard edge and goes from sweet and quite normal, to downright evil. The evil is always working underneath.
AMELIE is 25, cheerleader/dancer type, pretty, well-off, well taken care of, but character will also need to play panic, depression, medicated state.
For the short film we may need another female character around Amelie’s age (Steph) which will most likely come out of the Amelie pool of submissions.
We have the needed MALE actors already in mind.
The plan it to shoot a trailer and short film (experienced director on board/high quality film) then using it to get more financing for a full feature. We may want to create a poster and stills for this project right away once the two main actresses are selected. Shoot dates for the poster art/stills, trailer and short film are still to be determined and flexible, but coming soon!
The two main actresses are a HIGH PRIORITY and we’re looking to see if we can find the right talent here in South Florida. We have some select actors coming tomorrow, but we’d like to see more if possible.
