WHAT: “One Day More” tells the story of Will and Sally Duncan. After many years of sharing the stage, Sally and Will are Broadway royalty and you are invited to attend a Master Class where these two stars of the stage give you a glimpse into their lives. They met during a production of “West Side Story”, courted during “The King and I”, had a change of heart during “Grease” and reunited in and married in the popular musical “Les Miserables”. It is an original story about love, friendship, success, failure and leaving a strong Legacy intertwined with four of the most beautiful Broadway shows ever created.
WHO: We are casting over 20 roles for this production. We are looking for strong singers and dancers as well as strong actors as there are a few non-singing/dancing roles. Ages 17 and up only.
WHERE: Auditions will be held at the NEW Legacy Theater Company. 2442 Onslow Drive, Jacksonville.
WHEN: Auditions will be held on April 8 and 9 at 6:30pm. Please sign up for ONE audition date only. If callbacks are needed, they will be held on April 10. A rehearsal calendar will be sent closer to auditions.
PREPARE: No experience is necessary to audition.
Please prepare two Broadway songs of your choice. No duets please. You may sing a cappella. You may also bring a karaoke track of your song, but it MUST BE on ipod, iphone or cellular device. No CD’s.
Please choose one ballad and one up-tempo.
If you are auditioning for a non-singing/dancing role, please bring a one minute comic monologue to read (preferably memorized). There are very, very few non-singing roles. Please keep this in mind as you choose whether or not to sing.
REGISTER: We have limited time and space, so please register below for an audition spot. Auditions are OPEN, so you do not need to register for a specific time. Please choose April 8 or 9 at 6:30pm.
