Casting Call for To Be Romanced a UCF student short film (Non Union). Directed by Kalhil Adames.

Plot line: An introverted young woman falls for an alluring young man who offers her the ultimate escape from her painful and troubled life.

Looking for talented actors for four main roles. Filming will take place Nov. 30 – Dec 2.
Gas and meals will be reimbursed and actors will be paid. Actors from Atlanta & New York welcome!

Eva: Young woman who struggles with her mother’s recent death. Now feeling disconnected from her father as well, she seems to have lost control of her world. She seeks relief through her time with Carlos.

Carlos: Alluring, mysterious, and deceptive, Carlos is Eva’s escape. He is a facade of alleviation from the fast paced world that is closing in on Eva, but all the while he has his own mission in mind.

• Early 20’s

• Hispanic or Black

Antonio: Eva’s father, he has taken to drinking in order to numb the pain of his wife’s death. Failing to understand Eva and her grief, he ends up pushing her away.

• 40’s

• Hispanic

Frank: An angry neighborhood father who directs his hatred and racism toward Antonio.

Casting calls will take place on Sunday 9/22/13 & 9/28/13 between 10am and 4pm at the UCF Nicholson School of Communications Room 183.
