THE RED SCARF is a short film about an OCD writer who battles her extreme fear of the outside world in an attempt to finally meet her secret crush.
Casting for:
ROSE (25-30), an OCD writer who struggles with her fear of leaving her apartment
ALEXIS (18-22), Rose’s younger sister, an aspiring actress with an impulsive but caring personality
MATTHEW (26-33), a professor of English literature, and the subject of Rose’s affection
Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 9th between 1 and 4 pm in the South Loop. Please send a headshot and resume to emcgraves@gmail.com and someone will contact you to give specific location information and schedule a time slot.
This is a low-budget student film, but actors who work on the shoot can be assured they will receive meals and a copy of the completed film.
The shooting dates right now are set for March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
