Spike “Frankenfood” open call update

The new Spike show “Frankenfood” has had an update to its open call schedule.

Update: The casting call date for Houston has been moved to January 12, 2014. 

The new cooking competition is looking for chefs, cooks and foodies that that can make some extreme dishes. You do not need to be a pro to apply, you just need a passion for food, be 18 or older and have a competitive spirit.

The show will be casting at Sharespace, in Houston on January 12 2014. The event will begin at 10 a.m.

The show has been casting nationwide and this is the last open casting call currently scheduled.

 

Chefs attending will have the opportunity to  present their crazy culinary creations to two judges and hosts — New York City chef Josh Capon and actor/restaurateur Tony Luke Jr.

Can you make some extreme, yet tasty food creations? Maybe something that most of us would never think of?

Spikes new show is all about innovation and thinking ‘out of the box”. Casting directors are looking for crazy, yet delicious dished that most of us would never have even thought of.

How about some yolk-topped Sloppy Joe beignets? If that sounds right up your alley… read on because you may be a perfect candidate to participate in the new show.

The first season of this new show is casting now! They are seeking both professional and amateur cooks to compete for a cash prize of $10,000 to the person who can wow judges with the unexpected.
