The new ABC Fantasy series “The Quest” is having an open casting call
Do you have what it takes to be a true Hero? Producers of “The Lord of The Rings” have teamed up with the people behind ABC’s “The Amazing Race” to create a new concept that combines reality TV contestants with the fantasy realm of castles, ogres and mythology bringing forth a what is being called a genre-bending series.
The series combines real people, not actors, with hollywood fx, animation, prosthetics and other state of the art technologies to create a fantasy world that comes alive.
This new reality show will not be taking place on some tropical island with lots of rain, rather it will be taking place in a world that actually does not exist. The show combines scripted actors playing characters within a stort and the reality TV contestants who fall into that same story with some kind of a role to play and destiny to fulfill. Sounds pretty cool actually.
Season 1 has yet to premiere, but auditions for season 2 are already on they way and Utah residents interested in competing in this new concept can meet with the shows casting directors at Fantasy Con in Salt Lake City.

The series will pick 12 contestants, called Paladins, who will be immersed in the mythical world of “Everealm” where fantasy comes to life. Through a series of epic events and challenges, the contestants will battle for the title of the one true hero.
The Quest is looking for YOU and will be doing CASTING for Season 2 (pending Season 2 pick-up) at FantasyCon!
