STAGES ST. LOUIS will be holding auditions for Standbys/Replacements for ALWAYS PATSY CLINE. Rehearsals begin 4/8/14, opens 4/22/14 for an open-ended run.
SEEKING:
Patsy: Role is cast. Casting a Standby/Replacement for open-ended run in St. Louis.
Accomplished Country/Western vocalist late 20s-30s who can create a
credible physical and vocal impersonation of the late great Patsy Cline.
Curvy, earthy, and energetic – a real firecracker. Mezzo/Contralto.
Louise: Role is cast. Casting a Standby/Replacement for open-ended run in St. Louis.
Accomplished actress/singer 40s-50s. Charismatic down- home raconteur
with a ribald sense of humor. Should have a zany and a uniquely
unforgettable personality all her own.

All performers must be at least 18 years or older and bring a photo and resume. You must be able to show proof that you are 18 years old by July 1, 2014. Please have two contrasting pieces of 16 bars each prepared. You may only be allowed to sing one piece. No lead sheets; no transposition. An accompanist will be provided. Songs from the current season are fine; please no Jason Robert Brown songs. Open dance call auditioners should be ready to dance first and will sing only if asked. Bring character and jazz shoes.
