Mena Suvari will be starring in a new TV show for Amazon Studios.
The pilot for the show is now filming in Austin Texas and there is a call out for extras who are available in AUSTIN this coming Monday.
The current need for the show is Men & Women of all ethnicities, 18 yrs and up.
“Hysteria” is one of the many new shows that Amazon Studios is working on for their streaming lineup. The show is set in Austin Texas and is about a doctor, played by Mena Suvari, who goes back to her hometown of Austin to investigate a mysterious outbreak that seems to be localized to teenage girls. She is closer connected to the outbreak than you may think. Many years ago her brother was accused of a similar event and circumstantially sentenced to prison.
The doctor is now determined to get to the bottom of what is causing the outbreak and “Hysteria”. She sees a chance to finally exonerate her brother. The doctor’s brother will be played by Grey’s Anatomy star, T.R. Knight. Somehow, he may hold the key to the recent events.

Beth Sepko Casting/Third Coast Extras is taking submissions to work as extras on HYSTERIA, a new pilot starring Mena Suvari and executive produced by Shaun Cassidy. Shooting in the Austin, TX area Monday, 6/23.
-READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SUBMIT-
You’ll need a flexible schedule with the ability to clear time for the WHOLE day Monday, 6/23. This call time is tentatively set for 7AM. You’ll need to have your own reliable transportation to get to the set, a high school, in Austin.
Minimum pay guarantee for extras has been increased to $101.50 for 12 hours on this day only. *If you are already booked on this day, you will be paid this increased rate as well!*
Who we need: Men and women, all ethnicities, ages 18 yrs and older only, to play high school students, teachers, news personnel, camera operators, cops and parents.

IMPORTANT: Must be Texas resident w/ valid Texas ID (driver’s license, identification card, student ID) who lives in (or at least nearby) to Austin, TX since shoots days can change at the last minute. Please don’t submit if you’re not local to the area or nearby. Even if you’ve submitted or worked with us on a previous project, please follow directions and submit again for this project.
