New supernatural themed TV series ‘Constantine‘ will be holding auditions for actors.
The new show, based on the ‘Hellblazer‘ comics is filming the 1st season in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The NBC series is looking to fill 3 very featured roles.
MHC is looking for a male actor of any ethnicity in his 30’s to play someone who is possessed. They are also looking for a husky male, football player type, with some dance experience to play a man trying to dance some ballet as well as men and women who are Sudanese. The scene will be filming on the 15th of this month.
The above roles will require an in person audition with the casting directors in Atlanta.
‘Constantine‘ will star Matt Ryan as John Constantine, a British con-man who ends up fighting against the forces of evil. John Constantine is a man who is haunted by the sins of the past and falls into his role of the fighter of evil. Joining John Constantine in the battle is another character from the comics, Zed. In the pilot episode the female lead went to Lucy Griffiths but since the pilot things have changed, Griffiths character is out completely and a new one will be the lady by John’s side. Neil Marshal will be directing the show that will premiere later this year as part of the networks 2014 / 2015 lineup.
