JOHN Early to Mid Twenties. Artistic. Musician. Handsome. (Ideally can play
both Guitar and Piano)
SARA Early to Mid Twenties. A Free Spirit. Sexy. Spontaneous. Unaware of
her beauty and youthful passion for life. (Ideally can play guitar)
CHAD Early to Mid Twenties. John’s Best Friend. The Valedictorian.
Smart, Sophisticated. Everything John is not.
OLIVIA: Early Twenties. Total opposite of Sara. Good Girl. Safe. Unassuming.
WILL Mid Twenties. Best friends with John & Patrick. A party guy.
Funny and likeable.
PATRICK Early Twenties. Best friends with John & Will.
CHLOE Early Twenties. Best friends with Olivia.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS (JOHN MAYER)
Please prepare 32 bars of a rock, folk or contemporary musical theater song. We are looking to cast solid musicians who also sing very well. If you play an instrument, please feel free to accompany yourself. Please bring your book in case you are asked to sing another selection. Bring a headshot & resume and sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided if you need one. Auditions will be run by Producers. No Equity Monitor Provided.
