“BoardWalk Empire” is now casting extras for it’s final season.
The HBO period drama is getting ready to film season 5 and is seeking Caucasian men to play 1930’s tourists in an episode of the show.
New York City casting directors, Grant Wilfley casting are handling the extras on the series. The shows 5th season begins filming next month in NYC.
HBO’s Emmy Award winning series is set in 1920’s – 1930’s Atlantic City during prohibition. The show is inspired by the book by Nelson Johnson called Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City which centers on Atlantic City’s corrupt treasurer, Nucky Thompson.
The book was about the powerful Atlantic City boss, Nucky Johnson and his life. The HBO series mixes together historical figures and fictional ones to create the visually lavish and violent world of 1920’s Atlantic City. The series stars Steve Buscemi as the curropt politician, Nucky Thompson. The show’s pilot was directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Terence Winter (The Sopranos).
The show’s 5th and final season will premiere on HBO in September 2014. In January, The network announced that this would be the last season for the show. So, if you always wanted to be an extras on “Boardwalk Empire” and look dapper in that suit… here is a chance.
