CBS Under The Dome is filming in Wilmington.
The show has an extras casting call out for people who have never appeared on “Under The Dome” as extras.
The show’s casting directors are seeking general extras to play residents in what they call a “new town” as well as a few other types that are available this coming Tuesday in the Wilmington area. They are also seeking vehicles that can be used in the scene.
The Steven Spielberg series is in production for season 2 of the show. “Under the Dome” is about a small town in Maine called Chester Mills. The residents wake up one day to find that they are trapped… under a giant dome made of some unknown impenetrable material. The dome locks everyone in and keeps the rest of the world out, leaving residents cut off and fending for themselves. Chester Mills is left without communication to the outside world. “Under The Dome” s is based on a book written by Stephen King and Steven Spielberg is rumored to have directed the new seasons premiere. Season 2 of the show will premiere on CBS this coming summer.

“MOTORCYCLIST W/THEIR OWN BIKE” Male any ethnicity but you must own your own bike and helmet and be able to ride it to set. You will receive an additional $25 bike bump. Please include a photo of both you and your bike if possible.
“NEW MODELS OR UPSCALE/HIGH END VEHICLES” any color except white. All ages and all ethnicities. We are looking for 2012 and newer vehicles or more upscale high end cars they can be slightly older models. “RESIDENTS OF THE NEW TOWN” Looking for the “IT FACTOR” do you have a hip or unique hair style? Or Are you constantly getting comments on your looks or personal style? Basically do you stand out in a crowd in a good way?
