“Under the Dome” takes place in the fictional small town of Chester’s Mill in Maine. The massive, impenetrable dome has cut the town off completely, not just of supplies, but also of radio signals, cell service and most forms of communication with the outside world. On the outside of the dome, the military is camping out trying to figure out what it is, where it came from and how to break through it to get to the people that are trapped on the inside. CBS’s “Under The Dome” premiered last year and the series is based on a book written by Stephen King.
