CL Casting is looking for Atlanta area extras / background talent that are available to work this weekend on Sunday the 29th.
The CD’s are looking for Drumline fans who love watching the bands and have some real passion for the beat of the drum. Does that sound like you?
The project is looking for adult extras of all ethnicities and sizes who have a true passion for the music to portray fans in a scene filming this Sunday.
The original “Drumline” film came out about a decade ago and now, years later, VH1 is creating the sequel. “Drumline Too” is called “A New Beat” and is being produced as a television movie for VH1. The upcoming film, will be about a female student who defies her parents by going to a New Orleans college and of course, she hopes to join their drumline. Once there, being in the band may not be as easy as she thinks. The Drumline is very competitive and there are obstacles standing in her way such as other classmates and rivals. Dani hopes to shake-up, their once prominent drumline.
IMDB lists Nick Cannon as being part of the cast as well, but not much information has been released about how big, or small his role would be in the new film.
This does film in the Atlanta area so please do not apply unless you live in Atlanta or within a reasonable driving distance.
