The film is about to begin production and is looking for Pittsburgh area actors to play high school students. These roles are speaking and offer SAG scale pay for those selected. SAG pay is $859 a day. Nancy Mosser casting is seeking teens 17+ and young adults up to 25 years of age who can pass for high school students. “Me, Earl & The Dying Girl” will be filming in the Pittsburgh PA area this summer beginning in the middle of this month and ending in June.

Me, Earl & The Dying Girl” will star Thomas Mann ( Beautiful Creatures) and Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel). The film will be directed by ‘American Horror Story’s Alphonso Gomez-Rejon.

The bestselling book, Me, Earl & The Dying Girl is being produced as a feature film. The story is a coming-of-age tale in the vein of classic John Hughes movies, “Me & Earl” follows a quirky high school student in Pittsburgh who is forced by his mother to befriend a sick girl he once knew when they attended Hebrew school together. Well-liked by every clique in school without actually belonging to any of them, the young man’s commitment to the new friendship changes his life.

Casting Me Earl and the dying girl speaking roles

Mosser Casting will be handling all of the Pittsburgh casting on the feature film, “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl”, based on the best selling book by the same name and directed by Alphonso Gomez-Rejon (American Horror Story).

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” will shoot in the Pittsburgh area for 5 weeks starting in Mid-June.

We are looking for actors ages 17-25 years of age to play high school students. Must be willing to work as Pittsburgh locals.

This is a SAG(Screen Actor’s Guild) film and all actors will be paid union scale which is currently $859 (daily) or $2979 (weekly) depending on the number of days a certain character works.
