The 3rd season of ABC’s “Nashville” is now filming in Tennessee and casting for some featured roles.
“Nashville” is casting a few featured extras to work next week or the week thereafter. The show is seeking a “Dancing with the Stars” types or real dancers. They are looking for men and women between the ages of 18 and 35 that are in great shape and have a dancers body. The actors will be wearing dance costumes but will not actually have to dance in the scene. “Nashville” is also looking for some chef types that are classy and distinguished looking with some real cooking experience as well as wedding planner types that have their own professional wardrobe that they could use in the scene.
“Nashville” is about 2 country singers, one whose career is on a down slope and the other a young up and comer whose popularity is at its high point. Connie Britton is Rayna Jaymes, a country music legend who is being forced to now open for the teen sensation Juliette Lewis or suffer the consequences which may be losing her tour completely. Hayden Panettiere plays rising star Juliette Barnes.
The extras casting directors for the project are OLC and they are only interested in talent that has worked on the series during season 3 or had only worked in large crowd scenes where they were not prominent in the scene. The show films in the Nashville Tennesee area and you must be local to the area and within a reasonable driving distance in order to be considered. The call times for the scenes are still up in the air, so talent should have all day availability for the dates listed below.

FEATURED EXTRAS:
DANCING WITH THE STARS DANCER Types: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-35, attractive, fit, should have dancer physique and carry themselves as a dancer would, prefer real dancers with experience (*although you will NOT actually be performing or dancing). Should be comfortable in shny, skimpy dance costumes. TENT Work Date: Friday 9/26/14 and you will be asked to come for a costume fitting
CHEFS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 27-55, upscale, distinguished, classy, should have some experience cooking. TENT Work Date: Friday 10/3/14
WEDDING PLANNER: female and female, all ethnicities, age range 27-45, upscale, classy, stylish, poised, should have nice classy professional attire and a great personality. TENT Work Date: Friday 10/3/14
THIS WILL BE PICTURE PICKED BY OUR DIRECTOR so make sure your database profile photo is a good reflection of you or we will not submit it. If you submit – you MUST be available as we can not go back and tell our Director that his choice isn’t available after all!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT yet have Call Times so you would need to be available ALL DAY. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! .
