The new Batman based TV series “Gotham” has updated their previous casting call. They are still interested in finding extras and background with piercings, tattoos, mohawks, punk styles, etc., but have added a later fitting date.
The scene will be filming beginning in mid March and this is for the pilot or first episode of this new show. FOX has ordered 13 episodes of the “Gotham” series so this show will probably be in production for some time and we’ll most likely see more casting call announcements.
Extras casting is being handled by Grant Wilfley in New York City. New York residents only please because travel expenses will not be covered.
“Gotham” is a new show coming to FOX that is based on the Batman comic books. The new show will focus on the Commissioner Gordon character before he actually became commissioner rather than Bruce Wayne. In the new show Bruce Wayne is very young and has not yet become Batman.
The series is described as ”Gotham on the brink” and will be a cross between a police / crime series and a comic. The show is rumored to be bringing back all the great Batman villains like the Joker, Penguin and Catwoman. It will explore the stories of what made these villains who they are or will become.
