Producers Lily Verlaine, Jasper McCann and Nadine Dubois have combined forces in the interest of creating a Midwest incarnation of the award-winning Seattle production, “Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker” which has been delighting Seattle audiences since 2006. This is a paid employment opportunity.
Performance Dates (Tentative):

The show seeks to employ three male and seven female dancers with strong dance and theater backgrounds. Additionally the show seeks to employ 1-2 aerial artists.
We seek to cast dancers in the following disciplines (not all roles require all skill sets):
Ballet
Jazz
Tap
Burlesque/Striptease
Pointe
Physical Comedy
Aerial
Adult humans of all ages, sizes, genders and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Most, but not all roles require artful, partial nudity (pasties and g strings are always worn.)
Dance wear and character shoes are the preferred audition attire. Please bring pointe or tap shoes if you are strong in those areas. You will learn various combinations from the show, so please arrive warm and ready to dance.
Aerial auditions may be submitted via video.
