MTV new series “Finding Carter” Casting many paid extras in Atlanta

The new MTV series “Finding Carter” is filming in Atlanta.

The series is looking for quite a few extras for a scene that will be filming this coming week. Among the types the casting directors are looking for are runners, golf types, football players, lawyers, bailiffs, twins and newborns.

The series is filming 12 episodes in Atlanta and production of “Finding Carter” through July. The roles are listed above and this is only for Atlanta area locals.

“Finding Carter” is about a teenager who learns that her mother may not actually be her real mom and may have abducted her as a kid. Now, Carter has gone to be with her biological parents and siblings she was taken away from while she searches for the mom she knew all her life.

“Skins” actress, Kathryn Prescott has the lead role of Carter. Carter is a teen who spends her entire life, thus far, with the only mom she ever knew. One day, Carter finds out that her happy single mom, Lori, actually is not her mother at all. Apparently, Lori abducted Carter when she was just a toddler and now Carter is sent to live with her biological family. Carter must now adjust to the family she never knew as well as her new school and siblings, including a twin.
