NBC’s ‘Mysteries of Laura’ Casting Featured Role in NY

Debra Messing’s new show is filming new episodes in NYC.

The series is looking for Union and non-union talent that have an interesting look to be featured in an episode filming early next week. The show’s casting directors at GWC would like submissions from female New Yorkers who have tattoos, shaved heads, look like bikers or something else that makes them very unique. The scene is scheduled to shoot on the 15th of the month.

Mysteries of Laura‘ stars Debra Messing as a single mom who must juggle her demanding family life raising twins and her just as demanding career as a NYPD police detective. Added into her hectic mix is an un-cooperative ex-husband who is also a police detective. Joining Messing in the show are Josh Lucas and Liam Ferguson.

As part of NBC’s new shows in 2014 and 2015, NBC’s The Mysteries of Laura, premiering Wednesdays this Fall, is an action-packed, but lighthearted cop show with a twist, based on the popular Spanish series about one woman’s quest to have it all.
