“Rectify“, the Sundance Channel show which has gotten some great reviews is currently filming new episodes and casting directors are looking for some people to work next week.
This is for work next Thursday and Friday, the 20th and 21st in the Griffin GA area.
Production is looking for some real life couples who would be able to do a kissing scene together. They are interested not only in a male / female couples, but also gay and lesbian couples as well.
Also, they would like to cast some men and women who have large trucks with lots of big lights.
They will be filming a party scene and would like to find some 20 to 30 something guys and gals that will play party goers.
All the scenes will be filming in the Griffin GA area, locals only please since no travel expenses will be covered. Extras and background working on the project will be paid an hourly rate for their time which is usually close to the minimum wage.
Also, please only apply if you are available on those days for the entire day and maybe even night since filming may go past 8 hours

The show is produced by the same people who brought us the hit “Breaking Bad“. Rectify was created by Ray McKinnon. It marks the first original scripted series for the Sundance Channel. The show stars Aden Young, Abigail Spencer, J. Smith-Cameron, Adelaide Clemens, Clayne Crawford, and Luke Kirby. It tells the story of Daniel Holden who was previously convicted for murder and given the death sentence.
The show tells the story of a man who gets released from prison some 2 decades after going in. He is released after new DNA evidence comes into play and finds himself a part of a world he no longer recognizes having spent over 1/2 his life in a prison cell.
After 19 years on death row, he must find new purpose and come back to a community that may not exactly welcome him with open arms.
