PAYING Children’s Theatre/Film Production:
“Major Steko 2.0” at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Production will also be filmed and turned into a DVD for sale.
COMPENSATION: Actors WILL be paid up to $1,000 a month.
AUDITION: Sunday, March 9th, 2014 at 1:00pm at Second Baptist Church (6400 Woodway Dr. Houston, Tx. 77057). Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. PLEASE CONTACT AMY MIRE FOR AN AUDITION TIME-SLOT: amire@second.org
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00am – 1:00pm.
May 19th – July 10th
PERFORMANCES
Shows will be held in the morning from 9:00am – 12:00pm Mondays through Thursdays,
with a night show on Thursdays.
REQUIREMENTS
1. MUST: Be 18 years of age or older.
2. MUST: Have 8X10 headshot (color or black-and-white accepted) and resume.
3. OPTIONAL: Have 16 bars of music prepared to sing acapella from the musical theatre genre.
CAST TYPE
“Major Steko 2.0” has an ensemble cast of actors who have a good sense of comedic timing and are familiar with Children’s Theatre. Two casts will travel to five campuses around the Houston area. We are looking for 6 male and 6 female cast members of any age/ethnicity.
