VH1 is working on a new original scripted series called ‘Hindsight’.
The new series is now filming in the Atlanta area and CL casting in Georgia is looking to fill a few recurring roles for background actors. The show is now accepting submissions for quite a few types including yuppie adults, pedestrians, waitresses and barflys.
VH1’s ‘Hindsight‘ is just beginning production and will join VH1?s lineup of shows in early 2015. Currently VH1 has 2 other original scripted shows in their arsenal, ‘Single Ladies‘ and ‘Hit the Floor‘.
The series films in Atlanta but is actually set in New York City. It tells the story of a middle aged woman who wakes up to find that she has a second chance to fix the mistakes she made when she was younger. Becca,(Laura Ramsey) is about to turn 30 and getting married for a second time. She realizes she misses her friend who she lost touch with years ago and thinks about her first failed marriage. Becca wakes up and then realizes she is somehow back in the past. It’s the 90’s again and she has a second chance to make things right. She is now back in the 90’s and needs to adjust herself to her new surroundings.
The show will be executive produced by VH1’s head of development Susan Levison. In a recent THR article about the show, Susan Levison gave a bit of insight into what we can expect from the new series…
“Hindsight is a great mix of sweetness, drama, ’90s nostalgia and humor,” Levison said. “This series will resonate with our viewers because it offers the ultimate wish fulfillment — the chance to do things differently the second time around. We’re thrilled to continue our big push into scripted series development and are proud to partner with such talented auspices.”

Seeking experienced waitresses with abs or a flat stomach to wear a gypsy-style mid-riff costume. Casting is for ages 18 to early 30’s and those selected will work in a themed bar! This scene works Wednesday, September 10th and Thursday, September 11th

NYC PEDESTRIANS
Looking for people to portray New York Pedestrians Sept 10th and Sept 11th. This casting is open for all ethnicities, and anyone 18 or older. MUST be available both days!
OLDER WAITRESSES and BARTENDERS
(Recurring Roles – MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY)
Looking for three waitresses and two bartenders to work in a neighborhood bar scene for the run of show. For the waitresses, we are casting late 30’s to early 60’s, and experience is necessary. The bartenders can be male or female, and those selected will ideally be mid-thirties to fifties, and bartending experience is a requirement! Also looking for an experienced bar-back. Filming for the bar scenes will begin in mid-September.
SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN A BAR?

We are looking for people to portray “regulars” at the neighborhood bar. Can be any ethnicity, but prefer ages 50’s to 70’s. Character faces are welcome to apply. Grumpy old men, and old Russian-looking men are also welcome to apply!
