The Sundance Channel original series “Rectify” is filming and has put out a rush call for paid background and extras that they will need for a scene filming tomorrow.
The series is looking to fill the roles an African American man as well as a Caucasian policeman. The show is casting 2 children for the scene as well, a 2 to 3 year old and a 6 year old.
They also need background between the ages of 20 and 60 who have cars.
These are all paid extras roles in the Atlanta area and some will need fittings before the filming.
Rectify was created by Ray McKinnon. It marks the first original scripted series for the Sundance Channel. The show stars Aden Young, Abigail Spencer, J. Smith-Cameron, Adelaide Clemens, Clayne Crawford, and Luke Kirby. It tells the story of Daniel Holden who was previously convicted for murder and given the death sentence. After almost 2 decades, DNA evidence clears him and he is released. Daniel must now put his life back together and move on after spending 19 years on Death Row.

For tomorrow Saturday 2/15 looking for a few additional men and women 20’s to 60’s some with cars so please send recent photo and make, model and color of car — also specifically looking for a mini van or larger van that is not red or white.
Looking for a 6 year old and a 2-3 year old as well as a male or female that is 18 and looks younger
Also looking for an African American male that wears a large jacket and is available all day Tuesday for filming in Griffin and then a fitting either ASAP in SW Atlanta or fitting later this afternoon in Griffin
Looking for a caucasian male police officer type available tomorrow all day for filming and available in the next few hours for a quick fitting in SW Atlanta.
