CASTING CALL for Meet Virginia – Web Series
There has been a casting notice released for a SAG New Media web series called “Meet Virginia” which will be filming in the Chicago area.
Auditions for the series will be held on the 19th and will be by appointment. The roles are listed below and those interested need to follow the submission instructions to get an audition slot. These are speaking roles for a SAG new media contract.
There are open roles for various age groups including one child role of a young Virginia. The lead role of Virginia is also available and they are seeking a Caucasian female ages 29 to 35 that can be sexy bad and would be able to handle fight choreography well.
The casting staff will only be contacting those that they wish to call in for auditions.
ROLES:
We are only auditioning for a few roles at this stage. There will be another round in a few weeks. For the roles we are currently accepting submissions for please see below:
VIRGINIA– Caucasian, Ages 29-35, Sexy badass with a troubled past who brings her own brand of justice to society. Must be comfortable with guns and fight choreography.
YOUNG VIRGINIA – Caucasian, Ages 8-12, younger version of Virginia, grows up in foster care, innocent but tough, deals with difficult situations
TOM– Male, All ethnicities, Ages 28-35, Charming handsome male prostitute. Has an emotional connection and history with Virginia
DETECTIVE WESSIN – Male, Caucasian, Ages 35-50, Strait edge detective who always follows the rules with a personal vendetta with Virginia. (Episode 4, 5, & 10)
REBECCA– Female, All Ethnicities, Ages 28-35, Virginia’s foster sister. A lawyer, smart, attractive. (Episode 4, 6, & 10)
ROOK– Male, Ages 25-30, all ethnicities. Wessin’s partner. Smart, friendly, good at his job, not yet jaded by what he has encountered.
THUG– Male, All ethnicities, Ages 35-50. Leader of a gang. Drug distributor. Tough, mean, well built, experience with fight choreography a plus.

2. Put the ROLE you want to be considered for in the subject line.
3.Put your name, phone number, height, weight and age in the body of the email.
4.Please put preferred audition time in the body of the email. We cannot guarantee we can give you that time but we will do our best.
5.Attach a headshot and resume.
