The ‘Vacation’ reboot is now in production and there is a casting call out for a featured family.
The show is filming in Atlanta, georgia and is hoping to cast a local family that consists of a mom, dad and 2 or 3 kids between the ages of 9 and 15.
The family cast needs to have a family vehicle such as an SUV that will also be used in the scene. The scene is scheduled to film at the end of the month on the 30th but those interested need to apply ASAP because pictures must be sent to the film’s directors for selection.
‘Vacation‘ will be directed by John Francis Daley (‘Horrible Bosses‘) and Jonathan Goldstein (‘Horrible Bosses‘), both of whom also wrote the script for the film. Chris Bender, David Dobkin and Jeff Kleeman are producing the New Line / Warner Bros. film.
The Griswolds will be taking another family vacation but this time it will be Rusty Griswolds family taking the trip. Ed Helms will star as Rusty and Christina Applegate is cast to play Debbie Griswold, his wife. Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day are also part of the cast. Chris Hemsworth will be playing Audrey’s husband Stone, an anchorman and Day be their river rafting guide. Chevy Chase and Beverly D-Angelo are expected to make cameo appearences in the new ‘Vacation‘ movie.

Casting for a FAMILY (a Mom and Dad with 2 or 3 kids between the ages of 9-15).
All ethnicities/races to be a family leaving a fun outdoor sport place as our lead family arrives.
WE ALSO NEED TO USE YOUR CAR IN THE SHOT, so ideally they would like to use a REAL FAMILY with an SUV or Crossover vehicle, etc… a family vehicle that isn’t tooo huge but a larger vehicle that isn’t low to the ground that can also handle driving on a somewhat bumpy gravel driveway (at the location)
NOTE 1: This works THURS 9/30, during the daytime in Atlanta, however, we need to present photos asap for the directors to make their selections soon & we will be gathering submissions for this until Monday morning, so you have time to gather photos and info to submit completely.
NOTE 2: the pay rate for adults is $64/8 and the kids are $80 for 8 hrs. O.T. after 8hrs Minors can only work a max of a 10hr day.
ALSO, there is a $25 bump for the car.
NOTE 3: It is mandatory that we process a work permit application for the state of Georgia for all minors to work on a film or show. In order to do that, you MUST have access to a printer/scanner OR fax machine for us to do this.

We will only be using 2 or possibly 3 kids with the real parents. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 2 KIDS in the age range requested, we cannot guarantee that all the kids will be chosen. We will do our best to try and make it work, but they ideally asked for a mom and dad with 2 or maybe 3 kids.

Casting for MEN, ages 30 – 65, all ethnicities/races
to be a Park Ranger extra in a ranger station as our lead family drives by
— Former cop types are best for this (shorter hair)

NOTE 1: We need to present photos for the directors to make their selections ASAP and please make sure your SIZES are accurate. The Park Ranger will need to be uniformed by us and the uniform needs to be ordered soon.
