The new season of AMC’s Revolutionary War Drama “Turn” is now in production and there is a call out for Extras.
“Turn” is about to begin production of the 3rd season and there is an open casting call coming up this weekend in the Richmond, Virginia area. Arvold Casting is seeking paid Extras who look authentically from the Revolutionary War era and are local to the Central Virginia/Richmond area.
Casting director Erica Arvold is seeking locals who have some flexibility in their daily schedules and will be able to do as many days as needed during the shoot dates as well as people who have limited availability for roles that would only require a single day. The show begins filming in the Richmond area next month, November, and will continue through the winter with a brief hiatus for the holidays.
TURN: Washington’s Spies is seeking locals who would like to work as paid background actors and can pull off a Revolutionary War look. They will be needing lots of men, women and kids for upcoming scenes… long hair is a definite plus. No experience is needed to apply and both union and non-union talent are welcome to come tryout for a small role.
Set in the summer of 1778, TURN: Washington’s Spies tells the story of New York farmer, Abe Woodhull, who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America’s fight for independence.
Turn: Washington’s Spies, stars Jaime Bell, Ian Kahn, Kevin. R. McNally, and Meegan Warner. The show airs in the spring and Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes which will be aired in the spring of 2016.
