A new Ang Lee film is in production in the Atlanta area and is looking to fill some roles that will film over multiple days.
The film’s extras casting directors are seeking to fill a very featured role of a tough executive type (will work 13 days) as well as some tailgaters and football fans who may also work multiple days. This will be filming in the Atlanta area in April and May.
Ang Lee is directing “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” which is based on Ben Fountain’s New York Times bestselling novel. The film focuses mainly on one day, the Dallas Cowboys football game on Thanksgiving. The story follows a US military soldier named Billy Lynn who is part of a team that just got back from the Iraq war. Billy Lynn, a 19-year-old private survives an intense battle, “the Battle of Al-Ansakar Canal“, that happens to be captured by news cameras which catapult him and the other survivors into the limelight. Lynn and the team of soldiers are subsequently brought home by the U.S. government to go on a promotional tour to rally support for the war effort. The tour ends with an appearance at the Thanksgiving Day halftime show which includes a performance by the Beyoncé led group, Destiny’s Child. However, after the men are paraded around, they face an imminent return to the war. Almost the entire movie takes place during the day of the game, with flashes back to the underlying events and Billy’s heroism.

I suggest taking them in a suit as these will be seen by the director. Once he has made a few choices you will then come in for a meet and greet. Day and time TBD
If you’re chosen you will also be required to join rehearsal April 2nd.
