The Hit

Union indie short film “The Hit” will be filming in the Miami area (Pompano Beach) and is holding auditions for speaking roles in the project. Filming will begin in the fall. “The Hit” will shoot between September 25th and the 27th. Please see the breakdowns below.
“The Hit”
Michelle, a successful hitman for the Sperduti crime family, begins to eye retirement when suddenly one twist of fate during a seemingly routine job changes everything.

[MICHELLE] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 25-35]
Michelle ,a eternally sarcastic and quirky, went to community college and though she showed an aptitude for for many things in school he was an average student. Her parents and most of her family are in Chicago but she often tells people ,even those closest to her at his job that her parents are dead or he has no family. He took online classes to become a Nurse and during the short time she was hired she showed a natural ability for assisting and understanding surgical procedures. This bothered many doctors and the kept her out of the ER and pigeonholed her to septuagenarian work.
During this she meets and elderly man named Marcio whom she befriends and convinces that her passion and skills can be used elsewhere ,offering her a job. After an altercation with a doctor,Michelle decides to quit and take Sperduti up on his offer. Michelle quickly comes the most feared hitter in NYC
[MONGO] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 40-45]
Mongo is not dumb but rather loyal and obedient. Focused on what he is told. Any other path other than what he is told to do leads to him annoys him
Mongo grew up in the Sperduti Crime family. He has no real aspirations for anything more than being a goon and contract killer. It’s the family business and he is all about the family name. His first kill was with his bare hand at 15, demonstrating his size and strength.
When his father ( Sperduti’s) brother passed away. Mongo was taken in and essentially raised by Marcio as his own.
[SPERDUTI] [GENDER:MALE] [50s]
Sperduti’s lineage and his crime family can be traced back to the First World War when his family were fresh off the boat. Sperduti , a low level goon at the time ,took his fathers place after his four brothers put a hit out on him. To keep that from happening to him he then subsequently has then all killed and has been in power ever since.
Hustle,loyalty and respect. He is uneven at times to the point of being manic. Can be calm one minute and be angry to the point of rage the next.
[JOHN] [GENDER:MALE] [18-22]
Numb to the world of crime around him. Honest and to the point. Stoic
John has been in and out foster care his entire life. He doesn’t know his parents who left him at a hospital when he was born.Every family he has been adopted into has had a criminal connection to it. A connection he has come to use to his advantage in terms of survival. He was first adopted by a Native American family with underworld ties who taught him everything. He never looked back.
Now he was adopted by “The Fat Man” who sees him as sole a tax break and write off. This is the second longest length of time he has been with a family before they are eventually arrested or killed off.
[ FAT MAN] [GENDER:MALE] [AGE:40s]
Paranoid, nervous and slight OCD.
Heavy Set. Not obese but obvious not in good health. Thinning to no hair and he looks greasy like a bath wouldn’t be enough.
Became the accountant for a Rival crime family after being accused of steal from the Sperduti crime family. He traded secrets for protection and he was given that, a smoking hot wife and a kid as a write off per his request.
