The Endless Forest Nutcracker is a heartwarming and creative rendition of the traditional holiday ballet, and is presented by Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company in conjunction with Dance Project Saint Louis.
Missouri performances will be on Saturday, December 12th at 3:00 and 6:30 pm at the Pillsbury Chapel and Dale Williams Fine Arts Center at Missouri Baptist University.
The Endless Forest Nutcracker is a unique production that sets the traditional story by E.T.A. Hoffman in a cabin in the mountains. Clara must travel from her auntie’s home to the Endless Forest to find her long-lost sister. In her travels, she will discover the love of family, the magic of the Forest, and the enchantment to be found when the next step on the path becomes the first step in a new world.
Auditions for the Missouri performance of The Endless Forest Nutcracker will be Sunday, October 25th at 1:00 pm at Dance Project Saint Louis. Auditions are open to dancers from preschool age (age 4) through high school and college levels. There are also professional level roles available.

In-studio rehearsals will begin on Sunday, November 1st and will take place in the afternoons at Dance Project. The in-theater dress rehearsal will be on Friday, December 11th.
