Auditions for Performers in Detroit – “City Square: A New Musical”

“City Square: A New Musical” is now casting for our upcoming production.

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Type: Theater

December sky is now casting actors for our upcoming production, “City Square: A New Musical”. Must be able to sing; light choreography.  Must be available from October thru the first week of December 2015.  City Square Musical Casting 2 Male Actors/Singers.

“City Square: A New Musical” is casting 2 male roles.  Must have strong acting & singing ability, as this is a musical.

Both roles require the actor to play late 20’s/early 30’s.

Casting for the following roles:

Male, 20ish, African-American. Slim build, youthful appearance. Must be able to sing and act. Choreography helpful but not necessary.

Male, 20-30ish. African-American. Average build. Must be able to sing and act. Choreography helpful but not necessary.

This is a musical play, so solid singing (solo and chorus) and acting is a must. The style is contemporary (think “Rent”, “In The Heights”, “Once”).

Please contact us right away, as we are currently finalizing the cast before read-through rehearsals begin in October. When responding, please include a photo and video/audio clip of your singing and acting ability.

This is a modern musical (think “Rent”, “Next To Normal”, “Spring Awakening”).

The production will run the first week of December; rehearsals will begin in mid-October.
