Casting is open for Gateway Church’s upcoming Christmas short film!
Auditions will be held in Southlake Texas from Thursday October 29 through Saturday October 31.
AVAILABLE ROLES
LEAD
Sydney Walsh (Female, 10–14 years old): Film lover, grew up on movies, speaks fluently in movie quotes and knows film directors and history of cinema. Youngest daughter of Brian.
SUPPORTING
Nick (Male, 10–14 years old): Goes by Stubbs. He is a bookworm, practical, a vegetarian, and is skinny and wears big glasses.
Casey (Male, 10–14 years old): Food lover, chubby, daredevil, self-taught pyrotechnic, and 2007 “All You Can Eat Marshmallow” winner. Rumor has it he sent his dog into space with a homemade rocket. RIP Bruce Wayne.
Bernie (Male, 17–20 years old): Referred to as “Bernardo,” he is the same age as Sarah and is obsessed with her. He works at Computer World and is awkwardly skinny but does everything he can to gain muscle.
Sarah Walsh (Female, 19–25 years old): Grew up watching movies but doesn’t care for them. She is in her early 20s, in fashion design school at a community college, and takes care of her younger sister Sydney.
Brian Walsh (Male, 30–45 years old): Father of Sydney and Sarah. In the military; deployed overseas.
