“Empire” Now Casting Music Artists and Hip Hop Types in Chicago

The hit show “Empire” is filming in the Chicago area and have a new casting call out for extras.

The show’s extras casting directors at 4 Star are seeking local men and women ages 21 to 30 to play recording artists. Also, the show is looking to fill the role of a music manager and a music blogger to work in a scene filming shortly.

The FOX music oriented drama centers around entertainment industry mogul, Lucius Lyon and his family. Lucious is a Hip-hop artist, founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment, a family run music business. Terrence Howard plays Lucious Lyon. Also in the cast are Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Gray, Jussie Smollett and Gabourey Sidibe. According to Time season 2 will be adding music artist Ludicrous to the cast. Ludicrous recently posted a picture on Instagram which showed him in a law enforcement type uniform standing next to Howard in an orange jumpsuit. Time also reports that Kelly Rowland, Marisa Tomei, Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Common will all be making appearances in Empire” season 2. Season 2 will premiere this fall on FOX.

3) Attach a headshot and/or candid photo or headshot in JPEG format. We need a 3/4 or full body shot as well. Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses. Show us your style but make sure we can see your face!

NOTE: Rename the title of your photo with your Full Name. You should do this with all of your submission photos.
