CW’s supernatural series “Vampire Diaries” is now filming the fall 2015 / 2015 season in Atlanta, Georgia and the series extras casting directors have released a new casting call for next week.
The show has a few upcoming scenes and needs background talent to fill various small roles. The show is seeking local talent to play victims, patients, bouncers, waitresses as well as a male and female to play an elderly couple. The “Vampire Diaries” is now in it’s 5th season. The supernatural / Fantasy drama series is developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The show is based on the book series of the same name, “Vampire Diaries,” by author L. J. Smith. The show focuses on the relationship between Vampire brothers and a woman named Elena played by Nina Dobrev.
Following a family tragedy, Elena finds herself drawn to a mysterious man named, Stefan. Stefan is not just an ordinary man, he is actually a centuries-old vampire who is trying to exist among humans. Stefan’s brother, Damon, also a Vampire, is quite the opposite. Damon is brutal and violent. Elena finds herself caught up in a love triangle with the 2 brothers and later finds out that she looks just like a woman from their past. The story is set in the fictional Mystic Falls, a small town haunted by the supernatural, including werewolves and witches.
The show films in the Atlanta area and is only considering submissions from local actors / talent.
VAMPIRE DIARIES is looking for extras (new faces preferred) to work our upcoming episode. We are still scheduling, but shoot days will range between Monday, November 9th and Wednesday, November 18th in Decatur, GA. Please see below for breakdown….

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be mindful of the photos you submit. These photos WILL BE SENT to the Director and Producers to make choices. A lot of times we can’t submit people because their photo isn’t appropriate for the role submitted for, we can’t clearly see the person in the picture, picture is of poor quality, etc. A current candid photo taken on a camera phone in good lighting is sufficient majority of the time.
