“Sleepy Hollow” is filming in Wilmington and looking for male background actors to play Revolutionary War soldiers and Hessians.
The production is looking for a few Caucasian men, ages 25 to 40 to portray the soldiers in the FOX supernatural / crime series “Sleepy Hollow“. The casting directors are seeking men who are physically fit, have not yet worked on “Sleepy Hollow” and are available to work in Wilmington, NC on both the 14th and 15th. There is also a second casting call for Revolutionary War Soldiers and Hessians for the 19th as well.
The FOX series is a modern day take on the Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. The show is set in modern times with many flashbacks to to the Revolutionary War era. Ichabod Crane gets resurrected into the modern age as does his old foe, the Headless Horseman. Ichabod quickly learns that Headless may be up to his old tricks and leaving a trail of murder and mayhem in town. Ichabod teams up with a female detective to investigate the crimes and try to figure out why the Horseman is back and how to go about stopping him.

REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIER CASTING CALL
Wilmington, NC- We are coming down to our last week and a half of filming so this will be one of the last chances to work on the show this season. We are in need of 4 Caucasian males 25-40 yrs old who are FIT, IN SHAPE, NEW FACES. Looking for guys who would be available for BOTH WED JAN 14th AND THUR JAN 15th (for continuity reasons you MUST be available for BOTH dates). Must be available for what could be 12+hrs and could start as early as 5:30 AM. Pay is a guaranteed $64 total for up to 8 hr and time and a half after 8.
*This is for flashback scenes and you would be portraying Revolutionary era soldiers so you must be willing to be clean shaven. You will also need to come to the studio for a fitting TOMORROW MONDAY JAN 12. You get a $15 fitting bump for coming in.

Revolutionary Soldier: Caucasian men, ages 18-40. Those submitting must be willing to be clean-shaven and be available to attend a fitting on Thursday, Jan 15th or Friday, Jan 16th.
Hessian: Caucasian men, ages 25-35, with a tough demeanor. Must be in good physical shape and preferably 6’0ft or taller. We are looking for an intimidating, bad-ass soldier type. Must be willing to be clean shaven and must also be available to attend a fitting on Thursday, Jan 15th or Friday, Jan 16th.
We always ask that you be available to work 12 plus hours. The pay is a guaranteed $64 total for up to 8 hours and time and a half after 8 hours.
