FOX ‘Empire’ casting talent for season 2

Another new casting call is out for FOX’s hip hop music drama ‘Empire‘.  Season 2 just premiered but new episodes for season 2 are still filming in the Chicago area and looking to cast local talent to fill small roles on the show. Currently, the show’s extras casting directors at 4 Star are seeking to fill a variety of roles including club goers, seamstresses and more. The roles are listed below and include spots in a few different scenes which will be filming in the Chicago area this week or next.

Lee Daniels and Danny Strong (“Lee Daniels’ The Butler”) are working on the new season of their hit show, ‘Empire.’   The FOX  drama is about the inner workings of a Hip Hop record label that is helmed by Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), a man with a not so clean past who rose from the streets to the top of the music business.  The family’s music empire will find itself in a power struggle over control when Lucius finds out that his health is deteriorating and he must now groom a successor. Lucious has 3 sons and an ex wife… all of whom want his position at the top.  “Empire” stars Terrence Howard,  Taraji P. Henson,  Bryshere Gray,  Jussie Smollett and Gabourey Sidibe.

‘Empire‘ season 2 premieres on September 23rd and according to IMDB will consist of 18 episodes that will run through early 2016. Be sure to also check out other shows now casting in the Chicago area.

RATE: SAG Dancer Rate $693/8

We are looking to cast a group of “dancers” consisting of men that are comfortable being portrayed as gay on screen for our next episode on Empire. Men, ages 18-60, all shapes and sizes. Must have the ability to move to music, not professional dancers but able to keep time with music and understand the beat. All actors submitted must be comfortable with the content of the scene.
We are accepting non-union submissions but you must fit the requirements of the scene and submit correctly to be considered.

The feel of this scene is invited concert, upscale patrons, not necessarily a crazy club feel, more classy.
