Synopsis:
When a nanny from the Caribbean is dedicated to her cultural routine, it conflicts with her American bosses’ lifestyle and the value placed on their dog, then, she is forced to move into the family’s guest house during a major storm, until the nanny accepts her fears of storms, separation, and the reality of her new living arrangement, she seeks their attention when she transforms her anxieties, by becoming the very thing they value.
Character’s Bios:
[Christy] [Female] [Caucasian] [Age 5-7]: Christy is an inquisitive, wise, and honest child. She tends to be defiant when she does not get her way. She is very close to her nanny Dominique, understands and accepts her for who she is.
[Rich] [Male] [Caucasian] [Mid to late 40s]: He is Christy’s father. He is a lawyer who is ethnocentric, stubborn, and loving to his family. He makes linear decisions when it interferes with his American’s lifestyle.
[Nancy] [Female] [Caucasian] [Mid to late 40s]:
She is Christy’s mom. She is a psychologist, indecisive, avoids making decisions. She is caught in the middle of Dominique and Rich’s cultural conflict.
