Casting Call: Female Lead (Short Film)

Casting call: Female Lead (early-twenties to early thirties)
“I Am The Morning Mist” is an original short film about the relationship between people and nature. The female lead plays a ghost that appears in dream-like sequences: walking down the forest trail, standing by the rivers edge etc.
The film will be set to a poem by Persian Poet Rumi entitled “Say I Am You” and will be shot in the style of Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life and The New World.
I plan on shooting in early August in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington DC at two locations. As the film is quite short, it’ll only be a one day shoot.
The shorter sequence will be shot in a pool (to simulate a river, in post) so applicants must be confident in the water.
The project pays $200 for the day plus credit. Please send head shots, reel and/or resume
