“Twenty-Three” Independent Short Film Auditions

Plot Summary
Two men must decide whether escorting an innocent hostage to the leader of their cult is worth the freedom they’ve been promised.

Male, 20-26
Tall, wide-eyed, and clean shaven. Will be wearing a dog mask for most of the film. Silent protagonist. When he does speak, it is direct and plain. Will be driving a car.

Female, 24-32
Cold and murderous. A passionate young artist who has been using The Hounds to help complete her masterpiece. Her face is smeared with black face paint for the entirety of the film.

Male, 28-40’s
Terrified of where The Hounds are taking him. Will be blindfolded with duct tape over his mouth, as well as roughly handled for most of the film. Has an on screen death that will involve a small amount of fake blood.

Please bring a prepared monologue/scene to perform. We will also be doing cold reads.

There is a paid parking garage on Loyola’s Campus. Alternatively, you can find free parking farther up on Sheridan Rd outside of Bellarmine Hall, and on Albion.

The Loyola Red Line stop lets off right across the street from the student center. The 147 and 151 also have stops on Sheridan that are just down the block from the student center.

    I don’t see a date or a time for the auditions! I hope I have not missed the deadline. 🙁 .. I’m just trying to build a resume so pay is at the least at my worries!
