A movie production is coming to Columbus and they have a casting call out for Ohio talent.
John Travolta will be starring in the Patriot Pictures movie “I Am Wrath” filming next month in the Columbus, Ohio area. The film described as an action thriller will star Travolta as a man turned vigilante after his wife’s murder. Travolta is out for justice after a group of corrupt cops are unable or unwilling to catch the person responsible for the death of his wife.
“I am Wrath” will be directed by Chuck Russell (“Eraser”) with Michael Mendelsohn, Nick Vallelonga and Richard Salvatore producing. The film is scheduled to begin production in the Columbus, Ohio area on the 11th of next month and film for about 3 weeks in the area. A recent news report on the Columbus Dispatch announced the casting call and suggests that the production is seeking around 500 extras in the area. “I Am Wrath” will be filming on location in downtown, German Village and on the campus of Ohio State University.
Currently, the film’s casting directors are only seeking talent that is at least 18 years of age or older. The film’s producers will also be needing many cars. They are seeking car models 1995 or newer to be used in the film.
The film is casting for both principal and extras roles. Talent wanting to snag a small or speaking role needs to follow the instructions found here. According to a post from the CD’s at OPA, Auditions for those selected will be held this coming Saturday.
