My name is Kelle Neal and I am a producer and Director of Cinema Development with Moving4Ward Productions here in Nashville. This summer, my partner and CEO of Moving4Ward Productions Alan Nettles, and I are shooting a short film entitled “3 Blind Boys on the Block.” We are looking for actors to fill these roles and will be having auditions in May.
Synopsis:
Three African American men with obsolete outlooks on life are questioned about the occurrence of a tragic event that erupted in their community. The conflict of a black man’s identity is vividly expressed in each man’s narrative. The story follows the aftermath of each individual’s account of a tragic crime that occurred in a working class black community in Nashville, TN.
If you are interested in auditioning, please be aware of a few things: 1) this is an unpaid role, 2) will require a significant bit of time and flexibility throughout the summer, particularly during the months of June and July, and 3) for your audition, please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue.
My partner, Alan and I are very excited and passionate about this project and hope you are excited as well about the possibility of being a part of this incredibly deep and moving story.
