For folks living in the Albuquerque area who are looking to get a job as a paid movie extra, ID2 is casting.
The “Independence Day” sequel has been filming around the Albuquerque area for a few months now and is still in need of new talent. The movie’s extras casting directors are specifically looking to cast locals who have not yet worked on this project or what they are calling “new faces”. They are in need of some rugged, blue collar types to play male oil rig workers in scenes that will be filming later this week and next.
“Independence Day 2“, which according to an update on MTV.com, is being called “Independence Day Resurgence”. The sci-fi sequel has a pretty large budget of $200,000,000 and rumor has it that “Independence Day 2” will be split into 2 films. The first ID2 movie scheduled to hit theaters in the summer of 2016 and the second will follow in 2017. Returning in “Independence Day 2“ are Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox and Bill Pullman. Also cast in the film are Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liam Hemsworth, Travis Tope and Jessie Usher. Roland Emmerich will be directing the new 20th Century FOX film which will focus on another alien invasion that comes 20 years after the original.

We do not have call/wrap times so you would need to be fully 100% available on the work date. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
