We are 419 Productions – an organization from Ohio University that shoots multiple narrative short films each Spring. We are currently in pre-production for three productions with different crews: Without a Hero, The Retiree, and Tooth & Claw.

PRODUCTIONS AND ROLES:
Without a Hero – A Russian woman travels to the United States to meet a young man, but their contentious relationship leads to a parting of ways.
— Casey: Male, mid-to-late thirties, divorced and not looking for marriage
— Irina: Female, late twenties, from the Soviet Union, beautiful, materialistic, hopeless romantic
— Rob Peterson: Casey’s fraternity brother who never grew up. Mid to late thirties, slightly overweight
— Sushi Chef: Male, mid twenties to late thirties, speaks Japanese
The Retiree – Connie is a veteran, a former Marine, who raised his three sons by himself after his wife deserted the family. After being laid off from his job, he resorted to unethical means of paying the bills.
— Connie (Lead): 60-75 year old male. Former Marine, tough. Bank Robber.
— Jack: Late 40s, male. Connie’s son. Sheriff, responsible.
— Vivian: Late 40s, female. Diner waitress.
— Buzz: 35-45 male, Connie’s son, prison guard.
— Chip: 35-45 male. Connie’s son, police officer.
Minor roles: Bank officer, bank worker
Tooth and Claw – A young man with a complex past is forced to open himself to new experiences when he finds himself in bizarre circumstances with a free spirited woman.
— Oliver Clark: Male 21-25. Height 5’8″ to 6″. Introvert who is intelligent and has OCD.
— Katrina: Female 20-30. Height 5’6″ to 5’8″. Headstrong woman with a history of failed relationships.
— Don: Male 50-60. relaxed man who is loving but rough around the edges.
— Aunt Laura: Female, 50-60. Don’s wife and cares too much.
— Ledwig: Male 38-50. Handsome, impulsive, daring and selfish.
— Oliver’s Mother: Female, 30-40. Must be comfortable with suicide scenes, possible nudity involved.
