Logline: A young woman is locked away by her father after leaving the family faith.
Character Descriptions:
Jani: Male, 11-14. Imani’s younger brother. Wrestles between respecting his father and the fear of what may happen to his sister if the situation continues.
Malcolm: Male, 40-55. Imani and Jani’s deeply religious father. He seems indifferent to his children but is conflicted by their suffering; despite this, he finds justification in doing what his beliefs tell him is right.
