Open auditions coming up for paid roles in “Bat Boy: The Musical” and “Andrew Lippa’s Wild Party ” in the Portland, Maine area. The theater company is seeking singers / dancers.

Cast Aside Productions seeking Company Members

Bat Boy: The Musical (performing July 16-25)
-DR. PARKER: Male, 30-50 years old
Strong pop rock tenor

Andrew Lippa’s Wild Party (performing November 12-15)
-OSCAR D’ARMANO: Male, 20-40 years old
Bari-tenor, moves or dances well

Andrew Lippa’s Wild Party (performing November 12-15)
-DANCE ENSEMBLE: Male or Female, 17+ years old
Strong dancer, ability to sing required

(If you attended our 2015 company audition you are already in consideration and do not have to attend this audition.)

-Enter Door 4 (next to the freight lock) and enjoy the walk up 3 flights of stairs as part of your warm up. The classroom is to the immediate right of the stairs.
-Extensive parking available in front of the building and in neighboring public lots.

Maine auditions Cast Aside Productions

-Auditions are 17+. Parents be advised of each show’s content.
-Prepare 2 FULL contrasting songs to sing with an accompanist. Sheet music is required. (No Stephen Sondheim or Jason Robert Brown songs, please.)
-Bring dance clothes and shoes. You will be given time to change after your singing audition.
-Bring a headshot and resume.
-Everyone will be notified of results after casting decisions have been made. Please don’t contact Cast Aside Productions about results.
-Cast actors will receive a stipend and the ability to increase their stipend through commission work.
