Manhattan” season 2 open call for background extras in New Mexico

The show is in production for the new season and is looking for extras in the Santa Fe New Mexico area. Casting directors for the WGN TV series will be holding an open casting call this weekend on Saturday, the 7th at the College of Santa Fe. The series is looking for adult extras who live in or around the Santa Fe area to work in scenes filming shortly.

Manhattan” tells the story of the race to build the first atomic bomb and the scientists involved whose lives become forever changed. The show follows the lives of the scientists and their families as they try to build the most destructive weapon known to man and the secrecy that surrounds the project.

Manhattan premiered on WGN America in July of last year and is the second original series for the WGN Network.

If you live in the area and would like a shot at working as a paid TV show extra, here is your chance. Anyone interested in the roles may attend the open call. No pre-registration is required. The call is only for adults who would like to be on the show. No minors will be considered at this event. The show is set in the 40’s and will require natural looks, so no tattoos, piercings, modern hair colors or styles. There is no need to bring your own photos. The casting directors will be taking pictures of talent on site but they do ask that talent does not wear any heavy makeup.

The show’s casting directors at OLC are seeking adults wishing to work as PAID BACKGROUND TALENT. Open Call is open at this time only to ADULTS 18 and over. (Sorry – no Minors!)

The open call will be held on Saturday – March 7th from 10:00am – 3:00pm

There will be signs directing you to Alumni Hall when you arrive at The College of Santa Fe.

This project is a period piece that takes place in the 1940’s so will require some specific looks. We will be casting men and women with period looks – natural colored hair, no modern or wild hair cuts, NO piercings/gauges, only non-visible tattooes, smaller to average size body types that would fit into vintage clothing.

There is no need to pre-register for this Open Call – SIMPLY SHOW UP during the open call times. Ladies – Please do not wear a lot of makeup.
We will be taking photos and measurements of all talent attending open call. Please wear casual, comfortable clothing.
